In Memory of Rick O’Neal Clary – September 28, 1922 to August 24, 2004

March 25th, 2006

Today we all have congregated And shall bid our earthly goodbye To a man – friend, husband, and daddy As this was ‘his time’ to die Yes, there will be sorrow Of many different degrees For everyone here has experienced Moments ‘shared’ with him, you see There were many times of laughter And times of some distress Yet I had often seen a special side Of his ‘fatherly’ pride, at best Three children, he and Charlotte shared Ronny, Neal, ‘n daddy’s girl, Keven All of you made him very proud And now, he’s watching you from Heaven And Charlotte, deep inside you know He truly loved you best Through life’s good and ruff-n-tumble times 61 years – you both stood the ultimate test For you, his business associates Long-time veteran buddies and dear friends He once told me that he always knew On all of you, he could depend To the remainder of our small family We’ll continue to carry on Forever strong, remain our ‘memories’ Outlasting life, however long Finally, may we all remember We are only here ‘short-term’ And God has given us His Word to live by To show our lessons learned M. In Memory Of Annie V. Winston – August 2, 2004

March 25th, 2006

"Mommy, my dear" — I'll miss you so Your passing was God's will — I know He took you to — this holy place And gave to you — a special space I\'m sorry I was — so far away When He stopped to visit — on that day I guess He desired — your utmost attention So He could tell you — of His grand intention The time had come — for you to leave Those left behind — could only grieve Yet, we all knew — just where you went Your life was blessed — and heaven-sent From babyhood — to married mother Your life fulfilled — unlike any other God brought to you — a loving man Created children — with His Precious Hand You and “Daddy” — taught us so much We’ll always remember — your tender touch Then reminisce — about the past With memories — that will always last So “Mommy” — now you are at peace Remember our love — shall never cease And “Daddy” — he’ll be glad you’re home You both, no longer — shall be alone Farewells can be — a painful thing But it truly helps — remembering Christ-like examples — you displayed To keep us focused — on God’s Pathway M.Clary August 4, 2004

Why Traffic Is Bad

March 25th, 2006

You wonder why the traffic's bad When you drive to work? It's all due to growing pains Not from any other quirk Blame developers for gridlock They don't build widened roads For all the people who buy their homes While filling their pockets with the Mother Load It appears that for a long, long time You'll just have to bear the wait On those single-laned country roads That will cause you to be late I’m afraid it’ll take a lifetime Though some roads have come of age As they’ve become “Eight Lanes Of Craze” Resulting in Road Rage!! The Evolution of the Enterprise Resource Community

March 25th, 2006

In the beginning…we were quite small With a mere twenty people…who started it all Reps from five practices…and the sales team too Developed an objective…then carried it through Providing the best talent…to serve clients well Was the primary focus…it's what EDS sells Taking care of our people…was also the goal And as time continued…more filled that role We became a community…not hard to believe Joining were "I Solutions," "ATK," and even the "B" We were excited…and were most thrilled When we realized…resource needs being filled In December of '02…we were officially named Enterprise Resource Community…soon others came We then grew from eighty…to one forty-four Word traveled by mouth…and InfoCentre opened a door More than three hundred strong now…our leadership grows We don't set strict boundaries…and it's beginning to show Challenge and innovation…are displayed at every turn With integrity and respect…improved morale will be earned Come experience our Community…and join our endeavor You may come just one time…but, you might stay forever Consider the difference…your contribution might lead In assisting the EDS client…with a "perfect" resource need! In Honor of ERC's 3rd Anniversary!! M.Clary March 5, 2004

One Wish

March 25th, 2006

One Wish, One Wish, If I had one wish. I would wish for my mom to be happy. For her to wake and see the light. That would be my wish. My wish sees her living for herself, and no one else. I wish that God gives her the strength and courage to make the change to feel alive again. My wish, my only wish, is given to the most wonderful person. I wish that my mom will once again become the happy, energetic, silly girl that she used to be. Momma, these are my feelings at the moment and I want to express them. Bean 02/23/2004

Rueben-Luther Rudolph

March 25th, 2006

<Sung to the tune of Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer) Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh…………. Good ‘ol Rueben-Luther Rudolph Thought that he was quite the man He was a “surprise” addition In the hen house, near Willis Produce stand He could not have ever imagined How his life would quickly change He snuck in with a batch of pullets All smitten, though a bit deranged Then one cold and wintry day The hens exclaimed, indeed “Don’t need another rooster Eating up all our feed!” So they all banded together Gave him such a terrible time Pecked and drove him crazy Booted him in the behind Then the Mr. and the Mrs. Put him with some older hens They too, had no sympathy With Brewster-Rooster in the same pen Then one cold and wintry day Rueben-Luther ran out of luck He remained quite terrified When his feathers all got plucked Poor ‘ol Rueben-Luther Rudolph May go down in history How he ended up in the stew pot Still remains a mystery!!! Me And My Guitar

March 25th, 2006

[This little poem was written in a heartbeat as my new friend was about to embark on a personal getaway. We met through a mutual friend at EDS, Jared Rogers. She is a young wife, mother, accomplished musician and singer. I treasure her music but, more importantly, I treasure the friendship and inspiration she has given to me through her songs.] I decided one day, to get away And do some serious thinking I took along my dearest friend My guitar…which I plan on keeping It's always been my closest friend Never criticizes if I do wrong Allowing me to turn my feelings Into musical notes and song It helps me overcome my fears It gives me an inner peace Not sure how I'd ever do without it As it brings such great release I know it has also helped me To enhance my musical gift I will treasure it forever and always As it gives my insides "a lift!"
